HR Toolkit

About the HR Toolkit

Since its launch in 2002, the HR Toolkit (formerly known as HRVS) has been providing free practical tools, resources and information on HR management and workplace issues for nonprofit organizations.

In order to better serve the needs of users, the HR Toolkit underwent a major update in 2007-2008. Now fully integrated into hrcouncil.ca, the HR Toolkit features a simplified navigational structure, a robust search function and templates that are easy to find and quick to download.

The HR Toolkit Content Advisory Team

Made up of volunteer HR professionals and practitioners with a diverse range of experience and knowledge of the various areas of human resources management, the HR Toolkit Content Advisory Team works with HR Council staff to regularly review and update the information and resources that are available in the HR Toolkit.
